Recovery Wellness Programme

The RWP is an outpatient and aftercare programme, which has been developed using adult education, peer support and recovery coaching. You are encouraged to attend the core coaching programme for a period of three to six weeks to ground and anchor your recovery and create a scaffolding on which to build your personal recovery and wellness. During this time, you do have access to individual coaching (depending on your programme choice) and after the initial period you have access to the outpatient programme for 12 months to support sustained recovery and wellness. 

What you need to know

Participants will learn about the role of a Licensed Professional Recovery Coach, the principles of recovery coaching, and the different types of coaching services.
  • Client assessment:

    Participants will have an initial assessments and develop individualised recovery plans based on their unique needs and circumstances.

  • Coaching techniques

    Participants will work with our coaches to learn how to use evidence-based coaching techniques to provide one-on-one coaching and support to clients in recovery.

  • Group coaching

    Participants will participate in group coaching sessions and support groups to help clients build a strong support network

  • Collaboration with treatment team

    Participants will learn how to work collaboratively with other members of the treatment team, including therapists, doctors, and other professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

  • Progress monitoring and adjustment

    Participants will learn how to monitor their progress and adjust recovery plans as needed to ensure they are achieving their goals.

  • Documentation

    Participants will learn how to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of their interactions and progress, adhering to ethical and professional standards of practice.

  • Professional developmen

    Participants will learn about the importance of continued personal development and training sessions to maintain and develop skills and knowledge in assisting them in their continued recovery.

Skills and knowledge

This programme is delivered through a combination of online and in-person sessions as well as live-streaming video training sessions, as well as practical experience.

Participants will be required to complete assignments and assessments to demonstrate their understanding of the programme content.

Upon completion of this programme, participants will have the necessary skills and knowledge to go on to become productive members of society.
