Take your first steps towards becoming a certified MAUNI Professional Recovery Coach

This course is designed to train individuals to become Certified Professional Recovery Coaches, providing specialised support and guidance to individuals who are recovering from addiction or substance abuse disorders. Participants will learn the necessary skills and knowledge to provide personalised coaching and support to clients in recovery, helping them navigate the challenges of recovery and achieve their goals.

Participants will learn about the role of a Licensed Professional Recovery Coach, the principles of recovery coaching, and the different types of coaching services.

Client assessment:

Participants will learn how to conduct initial assessments of clients and develop individualised recovery plans based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Coaching techniques

Participants will learn how to use evidence-based coaching techniques to provide one-on-one coaching and support to clients in recovery.
Group coaching

Participants will learn how to facilitate group coaching sessions and support groups to help clients build a strong support network

Collaboration with treatment team

Participants will learn how to work collaboratively with other members of the treatment team, including therapists, doctors, and other professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
Progress monitoring and adjustment

Participants will learn how to monitor client progress and adjust recovery plans as needed to ensure clients are achieving their goals.
Documentation

Participants will learn how to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress, adhering to ethical and professional standards of practice.
Professional developmen

Participants will learn about the importance of regular supervision and training sessions to maintain professional skills and knowledge

This course is delivered through a combination of online and live-streaming video training sessions, as well as practical field experience. Participants will be required to complete assignments and assessments to demonstrate their understanding of the course content. Duration of the course is 10 weeks, with 2 hours class delivered each week.

Upon completion of this course, participants will have the necessary skills and knowledge to go on to become a Certified Professional Recovery Coach and will be able to provide personalised coaching and support to clients in recovery from addiction and mental health challenges.

They will be able to work with clients on a one-on-one basis, as well as within a broader group setting, to help them navigate the challenges of recovery and achieve their goals
