Take your first steps towards becoming a certified MAUNI Systemic Case Manager

This course is designed to train individuals to become case managers in the field of behavioural health and substance use disorder treatment. Participants will learn the necessary skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive case management services to clients.This course is designed to train individuals to become Certified Professional Recovery Coaches, providing specialised support and guidance to individuals who are recovering from addiction or substance abuse disorders.

Participants will learn the necessary skills and knowledge to provide personalised coaching and support to clients in recovery, helping them navigate the challenges of recovery and achieve their goals.

Participants will learn about the role of a Systemic Case Manager, the principles of recovery coaching, and the different types of coaching services.
  • Client assessment:

    Participants will learn how to conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their needs, strengths, and resources

  • Service planning

    Participants will learn how to develop and implement individualized service plans that address clients’ needs, goals, and objectives

  • Service coordination

    Participants will learn how to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, community organisations, and government agencies to coordinate and ensure the delivery of services to clients

  • Progress monitoring

    Participants will learn how to monitor clients’ progress and modify service plans as necessary to ensure clients’ needs are being met.

  • Emotional support and guidance

    Participants will learn how to provide emotional support and guidance to clients and their families

  • Resource and service access

    Participants will learn how to help clients access resources and services, such as healthcare, housing, and employment

  • Advocacy

    Participants will learn how to advocate for clients to ensure that they receive the necessary services and support to meet their needs

  • Documentation

    Participants will learn how to maintain accurate and complete documentation of all services provided to clients.

This course will be delivered through a combination of online and live-streaming training sessions, as well as practical field experience. Participants will be required to complete assignments and assessments to demonstrate their understanding of the course content.
